VALIDITY:
this is a term used to describe how long you have access to a plan before you will be disconnected from MTN network, most people don’t understand this, sometimes you hear people say “how can MTN say my Megabytes if finished when I was told it will last for 30 days”,
The truth is that no one knows how long a data plan can last before it is exhausted you can finish 10GB in 2 day but its validity might say 30 days, another example is that the airtime you recharge in your phone can be said not to have a validity period but as soon as you exhaust the credit, your calls will stop going.
24/7: Means you can use your data all day as well as all night, meaning anytime of the day, I want to point out here that there are TWO methods to activate any of these plans

BY DIALING OR DIAL - what we mean here is the same as calling, the same way we call another phone number, if we say dial *11#, we mean call/press *11# on your phone and conclude it by pressing the green/call button on your phone
TWO:
BY SMS – if you decide to use the SMS method, it means compose an SMS on your phone and send it to a number i.e. when you hear SMS 104 to 131, it means open the SMS menu on your phone input 104 and send it to 131, just the way you send normal SMS.

- 10MB plan cost N100: This gives you only 10MB of data but is last from the moment you subscribe it till the next 24 hours, so its validity is 24 hours. You can activate this plan when you dial *104# or text 104 to 131.
- 25MB plan cost N150: This gives 25MB of data for 24 hours. To activate, dial *112# or text 112 to 131
- 50MB pIan cost N200: This gives you 50MB of data for 24 hours. To activate, dial *il3# or text 113 to 131
- 150MB plan cost N500: This gives you 150MB of data, but for 7 days (2417). To activate, dial 103# or text 103 to 131.
- 100MB plan cost N1,000: This plan gives you 260MB (100MB + 160MB bonus) of data for 30 days (24/7). To activate, dial *10 or text 106 to 131.
- 250MB plan cost N1,300: This plan gives you 325MB (250MB + 75MB bonus) of data for 30 days (24/7). To activate, dial *109 or text 109 to 131.
- 500MB plan cost N2,000: This plan gives you 750MB (500MB + 250MB bonus) of data for 30 days (24/7). To activate, dial *110# or text 110 to 131
- 1GB plan cost N3,500: This plan gives you 1.5GB (1GB + 500MB bonus) of data for 30 days (24/7). To activate, dial *111# or text 111 to 131

- 3GB Night plan cost (N2,500): This plan allows you to enjoy 4.5GB (3GB + 1.5GB bonus) of data for 30 days (The 1.5GB bonus can be used at any time of the day.
- But after you’ve exhausted this bonus, you will only be allowed to use the main 3GB data within the night period, which is 9pm to 6am every day). To activate, dial *102# or text 102 to 131.
- 3GB Weekend plan cost N3,000: This gives you 4.5GB (3GB + 1.5GB bonus) of data for 30 days (on weekends only, from 9pm on Friday to 6am on Monday). To activate, dial 108# or text 108 to 131.
- 4.5GB Night and Day plan cost N2,500: This new plan is almost similar to the Night plan (explained above), but this plan is better in that it splits your data into two parts:
- 1.5GB to be used during the day at any time of the day FROM 6.01AM – 8.59PM daily + 3GB to be used during the night as from 9.00PM to 6.00AM daily. To activate, dial *102# or text 102 to 131.

MTN allows you to roll over your unused data to the next month. For example, if you have 100MB of data left before your validity day, it will be added to your data for next subscription — provided that you allow automatic renewal or you subscribe again before your validity day.
I will tell you the truth, MTN is more reliable than any network, but if your area doesn’t 3G or H for smart phone you will not enjoy their service
