Subscribe to Airtel BIS for 1 Months & Get 1 Month Free (4GB Data cap for N1500 Only)

Airtel Nigeria has just re-introduced the N1,500 4GB data plan which lasts for a period of 60 days. This simply means that you pay N1,500 and get the Airtel Unlimited Data Plan which simply means 2 in one.

This data plan is for BlackBerry subscription, but the interesting part is that it works on all other devices such as Nokia phones, iPhones/iPad, Androids, Windows devices and  computers and any device that uses SIM to connect to the internet.

The 1+1 is not available for all Airtel subscribers. Only Airtel knows why it is so. However, I have a way to check if you are eligible.
To know if you are eligible for this offer, simply dial *440*440# from your GSM. If you are lucky enough, you should get a message stating that you are eligible.

But if you are still not eligible after dialing the code, don’t panic, keep your SIM for some couple of weeks and then try again.

If eligible recharge N1,500 on your Airtel Line and then dial *440*161# to enjoy 4GB of data plan for 60 days.

If you want to use this on PC, set your APN to  ‘internet.ng.airtel.com’, while password and username will be ‘internet’.

How to Subscribe to Airtel BIS for 1 Months & Get 1 Month Free (4GB Data cap for N1500)

If you have been following my previous posts on Airtel Nigeria for some time now, you will discover that Airtel has been rewarding its subscribers endlessly i.e. giving subscribers value for their money. In case you are new to this UNIQUE blog, take out some time to go through my previous posts and you will quit agree with me that Airtel has its customers at heart, when it comes to how to use allocated data bundle.

Why did I say so?

Out of the four major service providers we have in the county, only Airtel gives you the privilege to use any allocated data cap/bundle any way you like, for instance, you can use your BIS data bundle on your PC, I pad, and any other smartphone.

So today I just want to inform you about the new Airtel Unlimited BIS plan, whereby you subscribe for one month and get the next month FREE. It is simply titled “Pay 1 month BlackBerry Unlimited Subscription and get 1 month FREE”.

Actually, this so called unlimited subscription comes with a data cap of 2GB, so when you get one month free, that will be an additional 2GB, which equals 4GB with a validity period of 60 day (2 months), at N1500 only.

But information reaching us from Airtel customer care center made it clear that this offer is not available for every previous subscriber on Airtel, you could be an Airtel BIS subscriber, but you may not be eligible for this offer.

How to know if Your SIM is eligible for this offer
For you to be sure if you can subscribe, dial *440*161# on your phone when you have less than N1500 airtime, the message/reply you get from dialing the above code will tell IF you are eligible or not.

A.If you receive a message like this:
"Dear customer, you are not eligible for this offer, kindly call *141*1# to select other blackberry 2+1 offers"
This simply means you are not eligible

B.But if you receive a message like this:
"Dear subscriber, your request was not successful because you do not have sufficient balance to activate this service"
This Simply shows you are eligible, so continue reading.

How do I get this Offer?

1. If you still have an active BIS subscription on your SIM, CLICK HERE to learn how to deactivate it, so as to be able to subscribe again to another BIS plan.

2. Just load N1500 airtime into your Airtel SIM

3. Dial *440*161# and if everything goes well, you will receive a confirmation message, with 4GB of data which you can now use to browse on your PC using your USB modem or simply use the Hotspot on your BlackBerry, and finally, use it on any device you like.

How to Subscribe to Airtel BIS for 2 Months & Get 1 Month Free (3GB Datacap)

Airtel Nigeria has been assisting its customers in several ways when it comes to BIS sub as a matter of fact, it has been one of the cheapest when it comes to BIS subscription and they give free MB to their subscribers in form of promo from time to time, currently, the promo has started again. What Promo am I talking about?
Currently, when u subscription to Airtel Complete BIS for 2 months at the cost of N2,800, you get one month subscription free of charge which is 3 month subscription altogether with a data cap of 3 GB which you can use on any device of your choice, some individual use theirs on PC to browse the internet with their USB modem, others connect their BlackBerry through USB cord to their PC to browse the internet, whichever way you want to use your data cap, Airtel gives you all the available options.

So today, I want to share with you how I get 3GB data cap when I recharge for 2 month.

Steps

1. Recharge with N2,800 on your Airtel line

2. Go to the SMS menu of your phone (it is not a must you will use a Blackberry to send the SMS, you can use any phone to do this, even China phone) compose an SMS with the word “BCM3” and send it to ”440”

3. If everything goes well, you will be given 3GB of data and a validity period of 3 month.

You can also use this 3GB on your PC by connecting your BlackBerry to your PC through Hotspot found on your Blackberry running OS 7.1.

Airtel Latest Smartbytes, Smallbyte & Postpaid Data Bundle Plans, Cost & Subscription Codes

Smartbytes is a new name given to the recent Airtel data bundle plan, whereby you get unbelievable benefits, whenever you activate any plan from 200MB and above.
Smallbyte on the other hand is an offer from Airtel that allows you to get bonus benefits when you activate any plan from 80MB and below. 
As we are witnessing a review in the amount charged by different service providers, Airtel is not left out, they have termed theirs Smartbytes and Smallbyte  just as we saw MTN Latest Data Bundles with Data Rollover, Data Gifting & Auto-Renewal Glo is not left out in this review, I made a post some time ago about Glo (Globacom) Nigeria Internet Bundle Plans, Cost and Activation Codes this on-going review in the price of data bundle is a welcome development because we are highly charged by this service providers when we subscribe to data bundle  unlike what we are charged when we subscribe to Blackberry, no doubt people has resolved to using their Blackberry subscription to surf the internet which is available on both Airtel and Glo networks.
