New Airtel 3GB Data Plan for N1000 Subscription Code

There is a kind of war going on in the telecommunication industry and Airtel Nigeria is not left out of this, it is a welcome development towards making data affordable to a bigger population.

In line with this development, Airtel has just launched a new data plan that is competitive compared to other data plans. In the sense that MTN offers 1.3 GB for N1000, 3.75GB for N2000

In the same way GLO N1000 will give you 1.5GB. Airtel decided to be more generous with 3GB Data plan for 1000. This is cheap but I learnt Airtel’s Data exhaust faster than any other but it is quite cheap and works on all devices.


Sometimes Airtel Data maybe based on eligibility as in the case of Airtel's *440*161# but this Airtel 3GB Data plan for N1000 plan is available to all subscribers and on all Airtel SIM cards on all devices

Airtel Unlimited Night Plan is really unlimited but is a time based plan meaning you have to use it within the speculated time. Data usage

It starts from 12:00 am (midnight) and ends 6:00 am. If you really need to download some Movies, Apps or Files that are very heavy, this is probably the best plan for you at the moment, most especially if Airtel network is very fast in your area.

Just queue up your downloads and go to sleep when you wake up the following morning with all of them completed.

Airtel Android users will surly like this, your darling Airtel has launched a competitive android data plan, where you can now get a whooping 4GB of data for just N2,000 and 9GB of data for N3,500 for two months in a stretch.
If you will remember the 1 + 1 BIS plan which only work on some SIM cards brought about by Airtel sometime ago, this new Android plan works in the same way, the difference is that one is used by BlackBerry users while the other is for Android users, so this is in form of a promo meaning you have to be eligible to use this Android plan, so you should note that this plan will only work on some SIM cards but you don’t have to waste your money as there is a way to confirm if your SIM card is eligible or not.

How to Know if You SIM Card is Eligible For 1+1 Airtel Android Plan

Follow these steps to check
1. Pick your phone (with or without airtime) and dial either *437*1# for the 4GB plan or dial *438*1# for the 9GB plan.
2. If you get a message that you do not have sufficient balance for this plan, then your SIM card is eligible but if you get a reply that you are not qualify for this plan, then your SIM is not eligible, you can try another SIM card if you really want the plan.

It will interest you to know that Airtel gives you opportunity to use your Data any how you like, i.e. Airtel BIS work on all devices like Android, modem etc.

In the same spirit, this Android plan works on all devices including your modem, the only place it will not work will be on your BlackBerry as BIS, but if you happen to have this Android Data Plan on a SIM inside your BlackBerry, you can use the Data as a hotspot to browse on your laptop and other Wi-Fi devices

Your Darling Network Airtel Nigeria has introduced the first android data plan in Nigeria, this is as a result of multiple campaign by android users online for an affordable data plan for their Android devices.

It might interest you to know that Airtel is currently the first to come up with the android data plans has definitely started a competition which surely will end up with a cheaper internet to android users.

Currently, this can be a great start, as currently Airtel also gives some eligible subscribers 4GB data plan for 2 months for just 1500 Naira,

How to Subscribe

As at the time of this post, Airtel Android data plan comes in three type,
  • The first is for 2GB of data which goes for N2000
  • The second being the night plan IS 3GB for N2500
  • While the third is 4.5GB data for N3500.
To see the complete list, just dial *141*1#
 
To choose Android Bundle Press 2 on you Android Phone
Choose the Plan suitable for you
Alternately, you can:

1. Dial *437# for 2GB of data which costs 2,000 Naira

2. Dial *438# for 4GB of data which costs 3,500 Naira

All plans are valid for 30 days.

Do you think this plan will also work on non-Android devices? Am yet to try it out, but if its work, then nobody will go for normal Airtel bundle because it is more expensive

Subscribe to Airtel BIS for 1 Months & Get 1 Month Free (4GB Data cap for N1500 Only)

Airtel Nigeria has just re-introduced the N1,500 4GB data plan which lasts for a period of 60 days. This simply means that you pay N1,500 and get the Airtel Unlimited Data Plan which simply means 2 in one.

This data plan is for BlackBerry subscription, but the interesting part is that it works on all other devices such as Nokia phones, iPhones/iPad, Androids, Windows devices and  computers and any device that uses SIM to connect to the internet.

The 1+1 is not available for all Airtel subscribers. Only Airtel knows why it is so. However, I have a way to check if you are eligible.
To know if you are eligible for this offer, simply dial *440*440# from your GSM. If you are lucky enough, you should get a message stating that you are eligible.

But if you are still not eligible after dialing the code, don’t panic, keep your SIM for some couple of weeks and then try again.

If eligible recharge N1,500 on your Airtel Line and then dial *440*161# to enjoy 4GB of data plan for 60 days.

If you want to use this on PC, set your APN to  ‘internet.ng.airtel.com’, while password and username will be ‘internet’.

How I Legally got 12GB of Data from Airtel Nigeria for N45000 to use on PC, BB, Android Phones & to Browse and Ping Simultaneously

Like you already know, Airtel Nigeria has been rewarding her esteemed customers with bonuses this period, we don’t know when this will end but it is wise to utilize it while it lasts.

So without wasting time I want to show you how I got 8GB of data (Legally) for N3000, which I use on my Blackberry to ping and also connect with Hotspot to browse on my PC simultaneously.
Before you can get 8GB or more of data from Airtel, you have to know if you qualify for this offer, so click here to read this post and find out.

So if you wish to get 4GB of data for N1500 for a period of 2 months, just dial *440*161# but if you need 8GB, do this:
  1. Recharge with N3000 airtime.
  2. Dial *440*161# and N1500 will be deducted, so you are left with N1500.
  3. Now Deactivate/cancel your present subscription.
  4. Dial *440*161# again and another 4GB will be given to you.
  5. If you need more gigabytes, load more credit and dial the same code.

That’s the way to go about it, right now I have 8GB left on my balance which will expire on 7th October.

The summary is that I was given a total of 12GB legally for N4500, can you beat that?

If you have been following my previous posts on Airtel Nigeria for some time now, you will discover that Airtel has been rewarding its subscribers endlessly i.e. giving subscribers value for their money. In case you are new to this UNIQUE blog, take out some time to go through my previous posts and you will quit agree with me that Airtel has its customers at heart, when it comes to how to use allocated data bundle.

Why did I say so?

Out of the four major service providers we have in the county, only Airtel gives you the privilege to use any allocated data cap/bundle any way you like, for instance, you can use your BIS data bundle on your PC, I pad, and any other smartphone.

So today I just want to inform you about the new Airtel Unlimited BIS plan, whereby you subscribe for one month and get the next month FREE. It is simply titled “Pay 1 month BlackBerry Unlimited Subscription and get 1 month FREE”.

Actually, this so called unlimited subscription comes with a data cap of 2GB, so when you get one month free, that will be an additional 2GB, which equals 4GB with a validity period of 60 day (2 months), at N1500 only.

But information reaching us from Airtel customer care center made it clear that this offer is not available for every previous subscriber on Airtel, you could be an Airtel BIS subscriber, but you may not be eligible for this offer.

How to know if Your SIM is eligible for this offer
For you to be sure if you can subscribe, dial *440*161# on your phone when you have less than N1500 airtime, the message/reply you get from dialing the above code will tell IF you are eligible or not.

A.If you receive a message like this:
"Dear customer, you are not eligible for this offer, kindly call *141*1# to select other blackberry 2+1 offers"
This simply means you are not eligible

B.But if you receive a message like this:
"Dear subscriber, your request was not successful because you do not have sufficient balance to activate this service"
This Simply shows you are eligible, so continue reading.

How do I get this Offer?

1. If you still have an active BIS subscription on your SIM, CLICK HERE to learn how to deactivate it, so as to be able to subscribe again to another BIS plan.

2. Just load N1500 airtime into your Airtel SIM

3. Dial *440*161# and if everything goes well, you will receive a confirmation message, with 4GB of data which you can now use to browse on your PC using your USB modem or simply use the Hotspot on your BlackBerry, and finally, use it on any device you like.

Airtel Introduces Unlimited BlackBerry Bundle Plane at N1500 Only

Based on what I understand from the message I received from Airtel which says

“GOOD News!!! You can now take up the UNLIMITED BlackBerry bundle for just for only N1, 500 ONLY Dial *440*16# for 1 FULL Month today”.

Now from what an ordinary man with little or no education can understand from this message is that when you subscribe, you have unlimited Megabyte (MB) to use until after the validity period.

So in case you can’t with for your current Airtel BlackBerry subscription to expire, before you try this unlimited plan, you can just Deactivate/cancel your current plan and subscribe to this new unlimited bundle, all you have to do is make sure you have N1,500 airtime on your phone (Line/SIM), then dial *440*16# and send, and you will be accepted into the unlimited club.




Am currently using this unlimited plan to browse the internet using the Hotspot on my touch 2, I now watch videos on YouTube, stream online videos without fear and the speed is awesome, this was made possible after I upgraded my BlackBerry touch 2 Operating System (OS) from 7.0 to 7.1 you can learn how to upgrade yours if you want to use Hotspot on your Blackberry to connect your PC to the internet.
