How I extract Text from pictures, Scanned Documents, etc

Technology is indeed improving by the day, and sometimes, somethings we think won't be possible are becoming possible beyond our imagination, but a trial will leave you with no doubt, just as in the case of what you are about to read.

Who could ever imagine that, that phone number on your pictures, the readable text in a scanned document could ever be extracted just by a mouse click?

Anyone who is yet to get acquainted with technology will be living the life of old in the present world, so today I will be sharing how to extract text from pictures, scanned documents etc.

Is going to be a simple tutorial I promise you, so let’s begin

Requirements

A computer (with Microsoft OneNote installed. you can get this Microsoft OneNote when you install Microsoft Office 2007 or latest on your PC)

A scanned document in .jpg format with readable text inside i.e. scanned document, scanned Resume (CV) etc

Steps

You may be thinking or wondering how this tutorial will be of help to you.

Suppose you are in place where you don't have access to the soft copy of your Resume, but you have the printed copy, and you are required to produce the soft copy, all you need to do is move into any business center, scan the printed copy, use this tutorial to extract the text and in 2 minutes, you will be having the soft copy of your resume, in which on a normal day, if you were to start typing that Resume afresh, it will take you noting less than 20 minutes. so i believe you now understand the need for this tutorial.

Don't forget to share with your friends, so share the post now.
