Like most of us who have come across the new Windows 8 will notice that the start button is missing, when Windows was contacted on this issue, the reason they gave was that they noticed that most widows 7 users never made use of the start button,
claiming that they prefer to hit the Windows key on the keyboard which to me I agreed instantly because I do that a lot, so that was the major reason they gave for removing the start button in Windows 8.
