Glo Data Gifting is the process of giving Glo data bundle as a gift to a loved one.
This happens when you don’t want to share your data plan with someone because the person might miss use it, then come the need for Glo data Gifting, you can now buy a subscription and send it to your loved ones as ‘gifts’.
This feature is especially useful when the person buying the gift doesn’t want to share his subscription with the intended recipient.
The gift recipient will be notified via customized SMS from the sender (and the network).
How to send data gifting
We can give out data gifting in two ways:
1. USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data)
2. SMS (Short Message Service)

2. SMS:
Compose “Gift <Plan Name> <loved one’s number>” and sent to 127
i.e.

& send to 127
